Aslanlı yolun taşları Ata’nın huzuruna çıkanların ‘başının öne eğik’ olması için beş santimlik çim boşluğu bırakılarak döşenmiş. 750 bin metrekarelik bir alan üzerinde aslanlı yol, tören meydanı, mozole ve on kuleden oluşan Anıtkabir, 907 metre yüksekte yer alıyor.
Depreme karşı dayanıklı olması için toprağın içine yerleştirilen Anıtkabir’de mozolenin iç duvar ve zemini en nadide mermerlerle kaplanırken, tavanları renkli ve altı varaklı İtalyan mozaikleriyle süslenmiştir.

The stones of the lion road were paved with a five-centimeter grass gap so that those who came before Ata were ‘head tilted forward’. Anitkabir, consisting of a lion road, a ceremony square, a mausoleum and ten towers, is located at an altitude of 907 meters on an area of 750 thousand square meters.
In Anıtkabir, which is placed in the ground to be resistant to earthquakes, the inner wall and floor of the mausoleum are covered with the rarest marble, while the ceilings are decorated with colorful and six-leaf Italian mosaics.
