ÇİNİLİ KÖŞK/İSTANBUL ARKEOLOJİ MÜZESİ KLASİK BİNASI

Çinili Köşk 1880 yılında Müze-i Hümayun (İmparatorluk Müzesi) olarak hizmete açıldı. Uzun süre imparatorluk müzesi olarak kullanılan Sırça Saray, Topkapı Müzesi’ne devredildikten sonra müze işlevini kaybetti ancak 1953 yılında İstanbul’un fethinin 500. yılı sebebiyle Fatih Müzesi olarak yeniden hizmete açıldı.

Tiled Pavilion was opened in 1880 as the Museum-i Humayun (Imperial Museum). Sırça Saray, which was used as an imperial museum for a long time, lost its function after being transferred to the Topkapı Museum, but it was reopened as the Fatih Museum in 1953 due to the 500th year of the conquest of Istanbul.
